60-second roast finder

Not sure where to start? Three taps.

Tell us how you brew and how you like it to taste. We’ll pick the roast and the grind.

How do you usually brew?
Why it tastes different

Most coffee is stale before it reaches you. Ours is roasted after you order it.

Coffee peaks a few days after roasting and fades within weeks. We don’t roast until your order comes in, so every bag arrives inside that window.

15+ years of roasting for Annandale and the DMV
Johnathan BrendleEspresso drinker

The bean prices for freshly roasted beans are unbeatable! Definitely worth at least trying — especially for those who make espresso and are looking for a great place to stock up from.

Daniel LeeCustomer for 2+ years

Coffee beans are great. Highly recommend the Lucy, medium roast. Been coming here for maybe 2 years now.

Raquel AguileraCosta Rican Naranjo fan

Beanetics is an absolute blessing to have. We've been purchasing our coffee from them for years. We've tried different blends; but we keep going back to the Costa Rican coffee from Naranjo...which tastes just like home.

Questions

Questions? We roast the answers too.

Straight answers from the people at the drum. Anything else, just ask.

Ask a roaster

When will my coffee ship?

Your coffee is roasted after you order it. All orders ship within two business days; most weekday orders ship within 24 hours. Most DMV orders arrive in 1–2 days; the rest of the US in 2–5. Local? Pick up in Annandale in about 4 hours.

Which grind should I choose?

Pick the one that matches your brewer: Espresso, Auto Drip, Pour Over, Chemex, French Press, Aeropress, Moka Pot, Turkish or Cold Brew. We grind right after roasting, at no charge. Not sure? Use the roast finder above or choose Whole Bean and grind at home.

How long does fresh-roasted coffee stay fresh?

Whole bean peaks 3–14 days after roasting and stays great for about a month in the sealed bag; ground coffee is best within two weeks. Keep it sealed, cool and out of the light. Skip the freezer.

Why 16 oz bags?

Most specialty roasters quietly ship 12 oz. We never did. A full pound is about 33% more coffee — roughly 33 more cups — for what other roasters charge for 12.

Do I need a subscription?

No. Every roast can be bought one-time. If you want it on a schedule, Subscribe & Save on its product page: 10% off every 2, 3 or 4 weeks, or 20% off weekly, pause or cancel any time. New here? The Roaster’s Tour is a $15 duo of two 4 oz bags in the taste you choose, one-time, and four duos ship free.

Do you sell wholesale to cafés and offices?

Yes. We roast for cafés, restaurants and offices across Northern Virginia and beyond. Visit our wholesale portal or reach out at roasters@beaneticscoffee.com.
